Getting started

  1. Install Pudding

    Download the installer for your Mac and move Pudding into Applications.

  2. Configure a model

    Add your model provider or compatible API endpoint and select a model.

  3. Start a task

    Create a session, connect a project folder or app as needed, and review tool activity and results beside the conversation.

Which Macs are supported?

Pudding supports Apple silicon with macOS 14.0 or later, and Intel with macOS 15.5 or later.

Do I need to pay or create an account?

Pudding Desktop is free for personal and commercial use. No Pudding account is needed. Provider charges may apply, and external apps require their own authorization.

Is Pudding open source?

The Agent core is open source under Apache-2.0. The desktop application uses a free proprietary license.
